Taking Shape

We have fresh walls.

For a long time, most of the progress was the kind you had to squint to see. Plans, measurements, things being moved from one side of the room to the other. But the walls are starting to go up, and suddenly it feels like a real place.

It is funny how much a few sheets of drywall can change the feeling of a space. You can walk down the hallway now and actually picture where everything will be.

Construction seems to be picking up, too. Every time I stop by, something new has happened.

We are still really hoping to open in October. That will make a full year since we took over the space.

There is still plenty between here and there. But you can start to see it now.
